Myanmar Insurance Industry has been growing steadily during previous years and it attracted investors, stakeholders with optimistic perspectives.  Existing insurance companies are working aggressively to get more market share with different strategies, in the meantime new companies entered in the market in order to fulfill market demands. The Insurance business sector has contributed to Economic Growth ,GDP, Employment Opportunities and the government also keep encouraging for the sustainable growth.

As a significant improvement in Myanmar Insurance Industry, Ministry of Planning & Finance ( MOPF ) issued Insurance Licenses to 100 % Foreign own  5  Life Insurance Companies,  3  Joint Venture Life Insurance Companies & 3 Joint Venture General Insurance Companies  during 22^nd AIRM ( ASEAN Insurance Regulator Meeting ) and 45^th AIC ( ASEAN Insurance Council Meeting ) . Myanmar Insurance Industry is moving forward, a lots of opportunities still need to develop and customers will be having more opportunities to choose varieties of Insurance Products and Services among Local and Foreign companies in the future.
